CITY OF CHESTER TOP TEN PUBLIC SAFETY & HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS
The City of Chester Department of Public Safety is committed to working with the community to help preserve the quality and integrity of our neighborhoods, while ensuring public health and safety. Our Code Enforcement staff has identified the TOP TEN CODE VIOLATIONS most commonly found within our community.
In accordance with the Chester City Codified Ordinances, if founded these violations may warrant fines of up to $1000.00.
- Construction or Building without Permits
- Unlawful Operation of Businesses
- High Weeds and Grass
- Unregistered / Inoperable/Abandoned Motor Vehicles
- Trash & Debris
- Vacant, Unsecured Property
- Miscellaneous Property Maintenance Violations
- Unleashed Dogs
- Pet Allowance
- Animal Waste
We encourage residents to report suspected violations within their neighborhood to the Department of Public Safety Bureau of Health.
