NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Community and Economic Development has scheduled a public hearing to receive testimony presented on behalf of the City of Chester, Delaware County with respect to the request for financial assistance filed by the City of Chester pursuant to the Municipalities Financial Recovery Act, Act 47 of 1987 as amended.
The hearing on the request will be held on May 24, 2021 at 1 p.m. in a Zoom Meeting before a hearing officer duly appointed by the Department. The public is invited to attend. Prior to the start of the hearing, the Department will accept comments from the public via email, and there will also be time given to the public to issue comments over the phone during the hearing. Comments issued during the hearing will be limited to 3 minutes each. You must be registered beforehand to issue comments over the phone.
