Enforcement of all posted parking regulations in the City of Chester, including parking meter enforcement, will resume Monday, June 15. This is in response to the city moving into the “yellow” phase of Governor Wolf’s COVID-19 pandemic response plan and is meant to provide safe and efficient traffic flow as businesses begin to reopen and employees begin to return to work.
Customers are encouraged to make contact-free payments through the Chester Parking Authority’s mobile payment app, Pango.
Parking enforcement personnel have been issuing warning notices to vehicles since June 5th, 2020 notifying them of the resumption of enforcement.
While Chester City Hall remains closed to the public at this time, parking staff personnel are available to answer questions. Call our office at (484) 480-4423 during normal business hours.
