Countywide Stay-At-Home/Shelter-In-Place Order
Effective tonight, Monday, March 23rd, 2020 at 8P.M., by order of Governor Wolf, ALL residents of Delaware County are here by ordered to remain in their homes. This order will remain in effect for 2 weeks. You may continue to work if your employer is a life-sustaining business. Residents are only allowed to leave their homes for trips to food markets, doctor appointments and any other necessary outings. While out, practice the principles of Social Distancing.
All Non-Life-Sustaining Businesses To Close
By order of Governor Wolf, the enforcement of the closure of businesses that are not classified as life-sustaining on Monday, March 23rd at 8 AM is now in effect. Laundromats have been added to the list as life-sustaining businesses. Please see the attached documents for a list of updated business classifications and frequently asked questions to determine if your business is a life-sustaining business.

To report a noncompliant business, contact the city of Chester Emergency Operations Center at (610) 447-7765 Monday – Friday from 8:30A.M. until 4P.M. Please do not call 911 to file reports.

Anyone with symptoms of coronavirus wishing to be tested should contact their primary care physician. If you do not have a primary care physician, contact the Crozer Hotline at 610-447-6730.
