Confirmed Cases of COVID-19

There are now 2 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the City of Chester, however there is no cause to panic. It was not a matter of if, but when, the COVID-19 virus would affect the city. It is necessary that all city residents voluntarily shelter-in-place now more than ever to keep the transmission of this disease, and the number of new cases, in Chester to a minimum.

Shelter-In-Place

As stated above, it is strongly recommended that you limit all outside interactions and shelter-in-place as much as possible. Limit outings to only food markets, doctor appointments and any other necessary outings.

Social Distancing

Social Distancing is vital. Please see the attached image to help visualize the importance of social distancing and how it will help fight the spread of COVID-19.

Testing

Anyone with symptoms of coronavirus wishing to be tested should contact their primary care physician. If you do not have a primary care physician, contact the Crozer Hotline at 610-447-6730.
