County Health Department

Delaware County has partnered with Chester County and Chester County will now act as the county’s Health Department. This will provide for better communication to the public and help to streamline other efforts related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The latest statistics provided indicate that there are a total of 185 confirmed cases of the virus in the Commonwealth. Delware County has 14 confirmed cases.

Government Offices

Both City and County government buildings remain closed to the public. City and County government is operating with essential staff.

Taxes

County Tax Bills are extended until 4/20/20. City Tax payments can be mailed in or paid at the drive-thru service window located on the east side of the building at City Hall. A representative will be there to receive payment or answer tax-related questions Monday – Thursday from 10am to 2pm. There is also a grace period during this State of Emergency.

Social Distancing

As stated before, we must all adopt the practice of social distancing and practice it every day. In addition, please limit all outside interactions and shelter-in-place as much as possible. Limit outings to only food markets, doctor appointments and any other necessary outings.

Testing

Anyone with symptoms of coronavirus wishing to be tested should contact their primary care physician. If you do not have a primary care physician, contact the Crozer Hotline at 610-447-6730.
