The Director of Rental Registration & Code Enforcement provides leadership for the Department, both administratively and in the field, by directing and supervising the activities of the Rental Registration Program, Vacant Property Registry, Pre-Sales, Property Maintenance & code enforcement personnel, and departmental activities.

The Director must possess the ability to prioritize, plan and schedule in order to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Department and develop a proactive process by which to respond to and address the enforcement of the Rental Registration Program, Vacant Property Registry, Pre-Sales, Property Maintenance & code enforcement to include the correction of violations; and the issuance of a certificate of compliance and Occupancy Certificate. The Director of Rental Registration & Property Maintenance reports to the Department Head or their designee.

This position requires moderate physical exertion. Most of the job is spent sitting, with occasional bending and some lifting (less than 25 pounds). A Purchasing Manager is in charge of supervising the process of sourcing and purchasing essential materials for a business’s operations. Their duties include researching raw materials suppliers and comparing costs, negotiating purchase agreements, and developing inventory controls to identify demand for new materials. Ensure procurement processes and procedures are adhered to at the federal, state, and local levels.

Performs other related work and special projects under the direction of the Finance Director.

An IT Specialist, or IT Support Specialist, is in charge of setting up, managing, and troubleshooting the technology systems that a business uses to maintain computer and software networks. Their duties include responding to hardware problems, updating system software, and tracking the data and communications used on their network.

This is attention-to-detail work in the finance department. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for all payroll procedures, including working with our TPA for payroll, HR, and various departments.

This position performs a variety of accounting to assist the finance department. Duties include payroll processing, check to print, reconciling, invoicing, and acting as backup for other staff as needed.
