City of Chester’s Office of Community Liaisons to Host Message of H.O.P.E. Tour  

 

(CHESTER, PA) – On Saturday, June 24, 2017 the City of Chester’s Office of Community Liaisons will host the Message of H.O.P.E. Community Tour at MLK Park from 12pm-3pm.

 

Residents are encouraged to come out to the FREE event that will include spoken word performances, live entertainment, health and social services information, vendors and music.

 

Representatives from local city government are confirmed to attend, including Councilwoman Portia West and Councilwoman Elizabeth Williams.  Local law enforcement officials and community advocates will also be in attendance to provide information to event participants.

Message of H.O.P.E. Tour:

Twice a month, the Office of Community Liaisons hosts a traveling Message of H.O.P.E. Tour in the community.  During the bi-weekly event, representatives from local city government, law enforcement and other integral community partners come together to share information with residents focused around a myriad of different topics.  The objective is to bridge the gap between local government and the community by providing, “helpful Hints, objective Opportunities, practical Practices and Educational expectations.”
