City of Chester’s Annual Heritage Bowl Set for February 4

(CHESTER, PA) – The city of Chester’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Public Property will host their annual Heritage Bowl at Chester City Hall on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 inside of Council Chambers.

The Heritage Bowl is a quiz competition modeled after the classic game show Jeopardy. Every year, student game participants are presented with clues in the form of answers, and must phrase their responses in the form of questions. The clues all focus on facts highlighting African American and the city of Chester history.

This year, teams from Widener-Partnership Charter School, Stetser Elementary School, Chester-Upland School of the Arts (CUSA) and Main Street Elementary will participate.

The team with the most points at the end of the game will be named the 2020 Heritage Bowl winner.
