City of Chester to Host Chesterfest 2018
(CHESTER, PA) – Mayor Thaddeus Kirkland and Chester City Council will host Chesterfest 2018 (formerly Riverfront Ramble) on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from
2pm – 9pm on the grounds of Talen Energy Stadium along the Delaware Riverfront in Chester, PA.
This year’s entertainment lineup will highlight performances from several bands and showcase different genres of music.
Event attendees can expect to see performances from Contemporary Gospel artist Jermaine Dolly and Washington D.C.’s premier Go-Go band Rare Essence. Shadows of the 60’s Tribute to the Temptations, Latin band Tempo Alegre and other local performers/groups are also slated to perform.
In addition to live musical performances, visitors will be able to enjoy comedy by Charles Waldon and Topp Flight.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Chesterfest 2018 (formerly Riverfront Ramble) has been held annually for the past 13 years. The event, which is free and open to the public, attracts over 12,000 visitors from all over the region. Guests will experience a day of family fun and quality entertainment that will feature live performances, and various children’s activities. More than two dozen local craft and food vendors will be onsite, as well as informational tables.
The event will culminate with a fireworks display at 9:00pm.
