City of Chester to Host Chesterfest 2016
(CHESTER, PA) – Mayor Thaddeus Kirkland and Chester City Council will host Chesterfest 2016 (formerly Riverfront Ramble) on Saturday, September 3, 2016 from
12pm – 9pm on the grounds of Talen Energy Stadium along the Delaware Riverfront in Chester, PA.
This year’s entertainment lineup will exclusively feature gospel entertainment. With Grammy Award-winning gospel duo, Mary Mary set to headline the event, visitors can also expect to hear music from several local musicians and choirs, including Stellar Award-winning choir, Wilmington Chester Mass Choir.
Chesterfest 2016 (formerly Riverfront Ramble) has been held annually for the past 11 years. This event, which is free and open to the public, attracts over 12,000 visitors from all over the region. Guests will experience a day of family fun and quality entertainment that will feature live performances, and various children’s activities. More than two dozen local craft and food vendors will be onsite, as well as information tables.
