In efforts to stop the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) city hall will be closed to the general public

UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Essential City services will continue to be delivered without interruption. Residents who report NEW bulk trash pickup requests should expect delays as the city is working with limited staff in order to adhere to current state and federal mandates.

As a reminder, the city of Chester has extended  its tax deadline to May 31, 2020.  Additionally, the City will grant a two percent (2%) discount to anyone who pays their taxes by May 31, 2020. Residents who wish to pay their tax bill during this time can drop off payment at the drive-thru service window, located on the east side of the building

Monday – Friday from 9am – 2pm. Payments can also be mailed.

During the month of May, Chester City Council will hold its regularly scheduled Deliberative and Council Meetings via Facebook live streaming. More information about Deliberative Meetings time/date changes will be announced in the near future.
