Chester City Council to Resume Monday Deliberative Meetings, Will Continue to Stream Public Meetings on Facebook Live
(CHESTER, PA) – Effective Monday, April 26, Chester City will resume holding its Deliberative Agenda Meetings at 2:00 p.m. on the Monday that corresponds with the city’s bi-weekly Wednesday Council Meetings. All public meetings will continue to be streamed live on Facebook.
The Deliberative/Council Meetings’ agendas for each meeting will be posted to the City’s website on the Thursday before the next meeting date. The agendas will be posted to the City’s Facebook page on the Friday before the next meeting date.
Residents or taxpayers of the city of Chester who wish to provide public comment for any meeting can submit their comments via email starting the Thursday before each meeting, until 9:45 a.m. on the meeting date. If the meeting is scheduled to take place in the evening, public comments will be accepted until 6:45 p.m. on the meeting date.
Any person submitting a public comment must include the same information that is requested at a public meeting. This information includes a person’s name and address.

All public comments will be read into record during the meetings. Chester City Councilmembers will offer a response to these comments if warranted. If a public comment is received without the requested information or if the comment is deemed inappropriate, it will not be read into record or accepted as an official submission.
