Boards, Commissions, and Appointments
Mayor and Council appoint residents to serve on boards and commissions that oversee City authorities, processes, and programs. The tabs below showcase comprehensive information for the appointed members of each board and commission, as well as vacancies and expired terms. Note that members may continue to serve after term expirations until they are re-appointed or replaced.
Serving on a board is a vital and meaningful way for residents to impact their community, and residents are encouraged to apply for appointment to boards for which they have interest or expertise. If you have interest in joining, download the Board Appointment Application available here and return as instructed. Mayor and Council review Board Appointment Applications and decide whether or not to put forward applicants for a vote at a City Council Meeting. Applicants will be notified when their application is received and again if they are put forward for a vote.
