Homeownership in Chester Session - March 9, 2010
In order to learn more about these incentives, the City is hosting a "Homeownership in Chester" informational session for real estate professionals and those involved in real estate, on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 10:00 am at City Hall, located at 1 Fourth Street in Chester. Chester Youth Soccer - March 15, 2010
Starting March 15, 2010, youth ages 6-13 can participate in a 6 week soccer league at Smedley Allied Health School Athletic Field on Mondays and Thursdays, 6pm-8pm and Saturdays, 9am-12pm. There is a $60 registration fee. Registration is March 6th 9am-12pm and March 13th 9am-12pm at City Hall in the community room. Citizen Police Academy - March 16, 2010
The Chester Police Department is now accepting applications for its first ever Citizen Police Academy on Tuesday nights from 6:00-8:00 pm starting March 16, 2010 at Community Hospital, located at 2600 W. 9th Street, in Chester, PA and run for 13 weeks, concluding with graduation on June 8, 2010. The classes are free and open to Chester residents who live in the Weed & Seed target area only. Applications are available at City Hall in the main lobby.

Volunteer Tree Planting - March 27, 2010
All residents are invited to join the Chester Shade Tree Commission for a tree planting on Saturday, March 27, 2010 in Chester Park. Refreshments and equipment will be provided. If you are interesting in volunteering, please contact Lisa Gaffney, 610-447-7861.
