Chester City Hall
Since December 2002, city administration and staff have occupied the current City Hall building at 1 Fourth Street. Formerly the First Union Regional Center, the 62,000 square foot building presented a more cost-efficient solution to the originally planned construction of a new building where all City departments were consolidated into one administrative building. Construction on the 20-year-old building began in January 2002, with a total renovation cost of about $5.8 million. The Chester City Hall Community Room provides seating for 80 people. Additional seating can be provided up to 150 persons, at the renters' expense. For more information on the use of the Community Room, please call 610.447.7728/29. |
