September 14, 2011
Chester City Hall - Community Room
1 Fourth Street, Chester PA 19013

Last year hundreds of job seekers came to the Chester Career Fair seeking employment or looking to make a career change. Started in 2008 by the Mayor's Office and Workforce Development, the career fair is free and open to the public, and has provided the opportunity for hundreds of residents to get jobs. This year's Chester Career Fair will take place on September 14, 2011 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm in the Community Room located at Chester City Hall. To enter, participants are required to bring multiple copies of their resume and professional dress is required.

Job seekers were able to meet face-to-face with over 30 companies and apply for hundreds of positions. The employers were seeking professionals from a wide-range of fields, including healthcare, hospitality, education, human services, and more.

Chester residents who were not able to attend the fair and those who need assistance in finding a job can contact Robert Wrease, Jr., Workforce Coordinator at 610-447-1424. For more information about the Workforce Development Center, please click here.
