Robert L. Wrease, Jr., Workforce Coordinator

In 2005 Mr. Robert L. Wrease, Jr. was appointed as the City of Chester's Workforce Coordinator.  He is a 1987 graduate of Chester High School, where he served as Vice-President of the Senior Class.  He holds an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Delaware County Community College (Media, PA) and a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (Indiana, PA).  He has a Masters Degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling at Neumann College (Aston, PA).

       

Mr. Wrease has eight years of experience working in the field of higher education.  Prior to coming to the City of Chester, he was the Assistant Director of Admissions at Delaware County Community College, where he was responsible for minority recruitment and international admissions.  He has also worked in the field of social work with at risk youth.

He is currently co-chair Business and Education Partnership and member of the East Gateway Triangle (EGT)  implementation committee and was recently named chair of the Economic/Workforce Development sub-committee for Weed & Seed. He is also an active member at Through the Word Bible Fellowship Church (Chester, PA).
He has severed as a  former member of several organizations including the Pennsylvania Association of College Admissions Counseling (PACAC), the Pennsylvania Black Conference on Higher Education (PBCOHE) and the Association for International Educators (NAFSA).

Mr. Wrease is married and has two daughters.
